Frankfurt acquisition

BNP Paribas REIM announces the acquisition of an office building in Bad Homburg (Frankfurt region) on behalf of SCPI Opus Real from OFB Projektentwicklung GmbH.

Located in the Frankfurt region, the building has an area of approx. 7,700 s qm. The property has just been delivered and obtained a LEED Gold certification. The office building is located in the heart of Bad Homburg’s tertiary hub and enjoys privileged access to public transportation (S-Bahn train station providing direct access to the centre of Frankfurt). The property is fully occupied by four tenants – its main tenant is Fresenius, one of the world leading healthcare companies.

In Germany, expertise hubs are developed around large agglomerations: finance in Frankfurt, administration in Berlin, high technologies and innovation in Stuttgart... Real estate risk mitigation can therefore be achieved with selected exposure to the "BIG SIX" - Berlin, Cologne, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg and Munich -, and other dynamic second tier cities.

The SCPI Opus Real, a French regulated fund dedicated to private clients managed by BNP Paribas REIM France, aims to acquire a diversified portfolio of mostly commercial real estate (offices, retail, logistics, hotels…), essentially.

Jean-Maxime Jouis, Head of Fund Management of BNP Paribas REIM France, said: “This brand new building benefits from a prime location in an interesting submarket of the Frankfurt metropolitan area. The average lease length of more than 8 years coupled with the diverse tenant mix of the property (Healthcare, Digital Marketing, Web services and Insurance industry) ensures secure cash flows, for the SCPI Opus Real”.

BNP Paribas REIM was advised by Clifford Chance (legal advisor), WSP (technical advisor) - OFB Projektentwicklung GmbH was advised by GSK Stockmann.
