BNP PARIBAS REAL ESTATE INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT ANNOUNCES NEW APPOINTMENTS IN EUROPE
BNP Paribas Real Estate Investment Management (BNP Paribas REIM) has made three new appointments with effect from July 1, 2024:
Vincenzo NOCERINO is to be made Global Chief Investment Officer,
Laurence WEYDERT will become Global Head of Asset Management,
Swati SRIVASTAVA will become Country Head UK.
These appointments will strengthen the fund manager's European organisation.

Vincenzo NOCERINO is being made Global CIO, while remaining CEO of BNP Paribas REIM Italy and a member of the Executive Board of BNP Paribas REIM. He will be tasked with supporting the growth of the entire business line, across all asset classes, regions and risk profiles. Vincenzo knows BNP Paribas REIM well, having joined in 2020.
He was previously Head of Transactions at UBS Real Estate & Private Markets, where he coordinated sourcing and execution of real estate transactions for funds under management and Separate Accounts, as well as supporting the company's development and fundraising.
Vincenzo NOCERINO is a graduate in Business Administration from Bocconi University in Milan.

Laurence WEYDERT has been appointed Global Head of Asset Management at BNP Paribas REIM. This is a new position specifically created to ensure that the organisation fulfils the growing need for active portfolio management on a consistent basis across Europe. Laurence will report to Vincenzo Nocerino in this role. She will also remain Head of Asset Management France & Belux, a position she has held since January 2022.
Laurence has 25 years' experience in Audit, Advisory, Investment and Asset Management. She spent over ten years with the Klépierre Group, where she was Head of Operations for Sweden and Denmark for five years. She then ran the Investment Management and Asset Management activities for France and Belgium for six years.
Laurence WEYDERT trained as an engineer. She is a graduate of ESTP and holds a post-graduate diploma in accountancy (DESCF).

Swati SRIVASTAVA is appointed as Country Head UK. She will continue to develop BNP Paribas REIM's business in the country and her appointment emphasises the strategic importance of the UK business. She also continues to serve as the Head of Institutional Sales & Investor Relations for the UK, Ireland, Netherlands, Nordics and International Clients, a role she has fulfilled since November 2022.
Swati brings over 21 years of institutional client, strategy and capital raising experience in FTSE 100, as well as entrepreneurial environments. Previously, she worked at Frogmore, Aviva Investors, Fitch Ratings and Lloyds TSB. She has also been a part of the Research Associate Program at INSEAD, Fontainebleau, France where she published research on corporate strategy and brand transformation. She holds an Investment Management Certificate (IMC), an MBA and a B.Sc. (Hons.), Physics.
