- Nils Huebener, Global CIO BNP Paribas REIM
Our market coverage and our experience of working through Europe’s real estate investment cycles give us the expertise to handle transactions of varying scale and complexity. As one of the largest real estate investment managers in Europe, we completed €4.5B of commercial property acquisitions and disposals in 2018, with transactions ranging in size from €10M to around €500M.
Our transaction processes put the interests of clients first: we have implemented a robust deal-sourcing process to provide all fund managers at BNP Paribas REIM with the same access to information on all investment opportunities sourced by all our transactions teams in Europe.
Local Expertise and a Global View Guide Us on Transactions
Our transaction professionals collaborate closely with our local asset management teams, which manage buildings in 17 countries. This allows us to analyse micro locations in each market so that we have a full understanding of a building’s investment fundamentals. This local network also permits us to source opportunities that do not come on to the public markets and to transact through private off-market channels.
The BNP Paribas group structure provides us with research and support from an extensive global network. Our research experts draw on the best available information, including analysis from the BNP Paribas Group and other leading third-party providers. We do this to be in the right position to make informed decisions on transactions.
