REIM: new appointments

BNP PARIBAS REIM CONTINUES ITS EUROPEAN MOMENTUM WITH NEW APPOINTMENTS

 

As a wholly European player, BNP Paribas REIM has structured its teams in keeping with its strategic approach.

 

Jean-Maxime Jouis, 36 years old, has just been appointed Global Head of Fund Management & Private Investors for BNP Paribas REIM and Deputy General Manager of BNP Paribas REIM France. He has been a member of the Management Board since 2019.

Jean-Maxime’s new duties will include supervising the lifecycle of funds created for institutional or private investors throughout Europe and coordinating all BNP Paribas REIM private investor business. Alongside Marc Sillon, Head of Private Investor Relations, he will be responsible for developing the consumer business in Europe, via local or passported products.

Jean-Maxime Jouis is an ESSEC graduate and joined BNP Paribas REIM in 2007, where he has respectively fulfilled the roles of Asset Manager, Fund Manager and Head of Fund Management.

Jean-Maxime Jouis reports to Sigrid Duhamel, CEO of BNP Paribas REIM France and Global CIO of BNP Paribas REIM and Laurent Ternisien, Chief Client Officer of BNP Paribas REIM and CEO of BNP Paribas REIM Luxembourg.

The 40-year old Paul Darribère has been appointed head of Fund Management France. A graduate of EDHEC and the London School of Economics, he worked at Ernst & Young Transaction Services, before joining the Corporate Finance team of Hammerson and then Articular Inversiones in Latin America. Paul joined BNP Paribas REIM France in 2013 as a Fund Manager and gradually worked his way up to become team manager then deputy manager of Fund Management.

Charlotte Laffoucrière, 40 years old, has been appointed deputy head of Fund Management France, specifically in charge of European strategies and Separate Account business. With a Masters in Real Estate Management and an MSG in Finance and Taxation from the University of Paris 9 Dauphine as well as a Masters in Real Estate and Construction Law from the University of Paris 2 Panthéon Assas, Charlotte has 15 years of real estate experience. Before joining BNP Paribas REIM in 2012 as a Fund Manager, then Fund Management team leader, Charlotte was previously an Investment Manager at Klépierre. Charlotte Laffoucrière reports to Paul Darribère, Head of Fund Management.

Andreas Nixdorf, 37 years old, has been appointed Head of Fund Management for BNP Paribas REIM Germany. Since 2016 he has been a Senior Fund Manager, in charge of three German institutional funds and two international club deals, which he will continue to manage in his new role. With a Masters in Business Administration with focus on real estate, Andreas has 17 years of real estate experience. Before joining BNP Paribas REIM, he was responsible for four German and Luxembourgish special funds as Director Fund Management at IVG Institutional Funds GmbH.

The 40-year old Elisa Bacchetta has been appointed head of Fund Management for BNP Paribas REIM Italy. As a graduate of the Bocconi University of Milan in Business Economics, Elisa has over 15 years of experience in the real estate sector. She joined BNP Paribas REIM in 2007 and she fulfilled the roles of Transaction Manager, Head of Acquisitions and Senior Fund Manager. Before joining BNP Paribas REIM, she worked for Ernst Young and Fondiaria SAI Group.

 

This new organisation is consistent with the development strategy that BNP Paribas REIM has pursued in recent years.
