BNP Paribas REIM Germany strengthens market research team

BNP Paribas Real Estate Investment Management (REIM) Germany has appointed Thomas Kotyrba (39) as its new Head of Research Germany. Thomas Kotyrba has been working at BNP Paribas REIM Germany as a Senior Research Analyst since 2016. In creating this new position, the pioneer in open-ended real estate funds in Germany plans further grow its market analysis resources. Thomas Kotyrba will officially assume his new role as head of the company’s 4-person research team in Munich on 1 July 2021.

In addition to his responsibilities in strategic development of the company’s own funds and real estate portfolios as well as advising during acquisition processes and letting transactions, Thomas Kotyrba will also be responsible for more effectively integrating the German research team within BNP Paribas REIM’s European business line. Before joining BNP Paribas REIM Germany, Thomas Kotyrba worked for eight years as a research analyst at the KanAm Grund Group where he was responsible for the European and German real estate markets and gained his first experiences in prop-tech. 

Thomas Kotyrba holds two degrees. In addition to recieving a Master’s of Science in economic geography from the renowned RWTH Aachen University, Thomas Kotyrba studied abroad in Trondheim (Norway) and Boston (US). He then went on to study in Hamburg, where two years ago he received his second Master’s degree in commercial law (LL.M.), specializing in international commercial and antitrust law.
