BNP Paribas REIM seals the deal with another tenant for the Hamburg Deichtor Office Center (DOC)

BNP Paribas Real Estate Investment Management (REIM) Germany has brought in Adesso, a leading
consulting and IT service company in Europe’s German speaking countries, as a new tenant at the
Hamburg Deichtor Office Center (DOC). The tenant will be moving into around 2,000 sqm of office space
that also features 650 sqm of terrace space. Adesso has signed a ten-year lease to cover its growing office
requirements. The award-winning property is situated in the Östlicher Hafenrand submarket between
HafenCity to the south and the City submarket to the north. Current owner of the property is the BNP
Paribas Diversipierre mutual fund, which was launched in France and acquired the landmark property in
early 2020.

“This leasing deal in the current market environment is proof of the building’s high quality and attractive
location,” emphasises Isabella Chacón Troidl, Chief Investment Officer of BNP Paribas REIM Germany.
“The DGNB Gold-certified property features very flexible layouts, a factor that is reflected in the wellbalanced,
multi-tenant structure at the property. The DOC is also home to a broadly diversified industry
mix comprised of well-known national and international companies. The fact that the property is so
independent of the development of individual business sectors means that the income is very secure,
which adds to the benefits of the building’s high-end technical fit-out and excellent location.”

Completed in 2002, the 10-storey office property features total lettable area of just under 21,000 sqm as
well as 150 underground parking spaces. With the addition of Adesso, the property will be almost fully let.

Adesso previously leased office space on Große Elbstraße. The company is headquartered in Dortmund,
has 40 branches in Europe and employs around 5,000 people.
